70-year-old writes music score of Asian Youth Games

　　An elderly man in his 70s in Nanjing brought his music score to the anthem collecting office of Asian Youth Games executive board on Dec 18.

　　The score was for the song lyric titled Love Makes the World More Brilliant which was selected as an anthem of Asian Youth Games.

　　The old man, named Wang Mingquan, loves news writing and is keen to public welfare undertakings. “I wrote the music score on hand, and I think the song is catchy, lively and cheerful,” he said.

　　Wang attended the citizen journalist group of a website three years ago and has wrote nearly 100 news reports for the website merely in 2012.

　　Wang Diechen from the anthem collecting office of Asian Youth Games executive board said they have collected 36 score works from all around China for the 3 anthems of Asian Youth Games, but most of them are music samples or works created by music composing software, with hand-written works rarely seen.
